Steve Aaron is a landscape photographer specializing in images of the Hudson Valley, Shawangunks, Catskills and surrounding areas. His current work demonstrates a unique perspective, resulting from a sharp photographic eye fused with a deep understanding of the landforms of the region.
Steve's work has been published by The US National Park Service, The Nature Conservancy, Open Space Institute, Mohonk Preserve, Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, Explore the Hudson Valley Magazine, Catskills Outdoor Guide, Ulster County Tourism, Ulster County Government, Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, Ulster Magazine, the Shawangunk Mountains Scenic Byway, Keep Rockland Beautiful and Adirondack Sports & Fitness Magazine. He has done contract photography for the Open Space Institute, the Long Path Race Series and the Find Ellenville advertising campaign. His work has been displayed at the Sam's Point Preserve Conservation Center, at the Aroma Thyme Bistro, the Ellenville Public Library, the Hunt Memorial Gallery, the Valley Cottage Public Library, Gallery Meraki in Rockland County, Avenue Gallery in Norwalk, Ct., the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference Headquarters in Mahwah, NJ and the public gallery of 1251 Avenue of the Americas in New York.
Steve lives in Valley Cottage, NY with his wife and daughter.
